Standard Chartered held its annual general meeting on 7th May; BankTrack and members of the Fair Finance Coalition were present and met with the bank to draw attention to the impacts of the bank's finance for ArcelorMittal in Mexico, Liberia and elsewhere. See the AGM report here.

Santander is the main financier of Alpayana, the company behind the planned Ariana copper and zinc mine in Peru, which poses severe threats to Lima's water supply. 

MUFG is the lead arranger for the Papua LNG project, which recently the subject of an extensive complaint to the Equator Principles, filed in December 2025. MUFG has so far ignored the complaint, yet it remains as training lead for the Equator Principles, despite facing at least five separate formal human rights-related complaints since 2023.

UBS' Annual General Meeting was held on 15th April. Several groups attended inside and outside the AGM highlighting the bank's financial links to ICE contractors, miliyary contractors linked to Palestinian oppression, and fossil fuel expansion. See the AHM report here.
