Tue Mar 31 2026 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM (UTC+1) Online Webinar

A high-level webinar to explore the latest research on petrochemicals and bridge the gap between energy, plastics, and food systems.

To achieve a full, fair, and funded phase-out of fossil fuels -- and for governments to fulfill their global climate obligations -- we must address a critical piece of the puzzle that often remains in the shadows: petrochemicals.

So far, much of the debate has revolved around transforming our energy systems, while the non-energy uses of coal, oil, and gas continue to sustain the industry’s growth and fuel the climate crisis. With the upcoming First International Conference on the Transition from Fossil Fuels in Santa Marta, Colombia, now is the time to expand the conversation and examine petrochemicals as a systemic driver of fossil fuels production.
