Sicredi, established in 1902, is a Brazilian cooperative financial institution, headquartered in Porto Alegre. Sicredi's corporate architecture comprises the shareholders of Sicredi Participações S.A. (SicrediPar), the holding company that links the network of regional central cooperatives; a Confederation; a Foundation; and Banco Cooperativo Sicredi S.A., which provides a broad range of retail and corporate banking services including credit, investments, insurance, foreign exchange, and payments. Sicredi is Brazil's second largest financier in agribusiness, behind only the Bank of Brazil.
