About Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI)
Bank Rakyat Indonesia Persero (BRI) was founded in 1895. It is Indonesia's oldest bank and was initially named De Poerwokertosche Hulp en Spaarbank der Inlandsche Hoofden during Dutch colonial rule. It became known as Bank Rakyat Indonesia after the country's independence. It operates a full range of banking services, giving special focus towards micro, small and medium entreprises.
