FACING Finance e.V. is a non-profit organization headquartered in Berlin that takes a stand for environment protection und human rights and fights corruption and any use of weapons that are against international law.

Against this backdrop the society critically observes investment behavior and documents the social, ecological and economic consequences of business practices of multinational companies.

To draw more attention to these issues FACING FINANCE e.V. is also working within national and international NGO networks and campaigns like ICBL (International Campaign to Ban Landmines), CMC (Cluster Munition Coalition), BankTrack and ICAN (International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons). FACING FINANCE e.V. also supports the eponymous international campaign FACING FINANCE, whose coordination staff is concurrently working as executive board of FACING FINANCE e.V.

The campaign FACING FINANCE has raised the awareness of German and European financial service providers for considering international conventions, social norms and environmental standards when they make investment decisions.

FACING FINANCE e.V. is listed at the district court Berlin-Charlottenburg in the register of associations as No. VR 32177B-1 and is accredited as a non-profit organization.
